ConsentMate provides a clerical drafting service for resource consent applications under the Resource Management Act 1991. We prepare draft documents — including Assessments of Environmental Effects, cover letters, and application forms — from information you supply.
You are the applicant. You are responsible for:
Our fees are as stated on our website at the time you submit your application. Council fees are separate and not included. Payment is due before delivery of your draft documents. During our beta period, services may be offered at reduced or no cost.
We aim to deliver draft documents within 2-3 business days of receiving a completed intake form. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Complex applications may take longer.
Our total liability to you is limited to the fee you paid for the service. We are not liable for any loss arising from council decisions, delays, or requests for further information. We are not liable for any errors in information you provided to us.
Documents we prepare for you are yours to use for the purpose of your resource consent application. Our templates, processes, and systems remain our intellectual property.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time you submit your application applies to your engagement.
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
